Alstroemeria Planet Mixed plants are gorgeous Lily-like blooms and have very striking markings. These beautiful blooms will provide you with a parade of colour over the summer months and into Autumn. Even better they are very easy to grow will return year after year and are ideal for borders containers cut flowers and patios.
When planting plant tubers horizontally 20cm (8) deep and 60cm (24) apart.During the growing season water freely and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser monthly. Cut back foliage in Autumn and give the plants a good dry winter mulch (such as straw) to protect the roots from hard winter frosts. Left undisturbed plants will establish well and produce good clumps within a few years. Shorter varieties can be grown in patio containers; use three per 30cm (16) container and during the winter store pots in a frost-free shed or greenhouse.
