Harvest September to November. For maincrop, sow on a prepared seed bed outdoors early March-late April. For early crops, sow in frames or under cloches during February. Transplant to final growing positions at 60-90cm (2-3') apart in well-firmed soil May-early June. Harvest September-February. HEALTH BENEFITS: Antioxidant. Good source of vitamin C. COOKING HINTS: Fresh use or freezing. Cut cross on base of sprout and boil for minimum period.
