Combined with a 6-tooth drive sprocket, this chainsaw delivers high levels of torque minimizing resistance when sawing. Features include the Eco-Matic chain oiling system which delivers no oil at idle and increases delivery along with higher RPM. Safety is to the fore on all Cub Cadet chain saws and features designed to protect the operator include a chain brake, throttle interlocks and reduced kickback bars and chains. The Cub Cadet CC2740 Hobby Petrol Chainsaw comes with a 40cm (16") guide bar and has a 3/8" chain pitch. For ease of use, the chain can be adjusted quickly and simply using the Lateral Chain Tensioner. It is one of the lightest chainsaws in its class weighing just 4.1 kg.
