Wild Edric was a Saxon Lord from Shropshire who was said to have married a fairy Queen. He criticised her one day and she disappeared -legend has it that his ghost is still be to seen searching for her in the hills.Wild Edric starts as attractively pointed purple-pink buds that gradually open up to a semi-double flower of deep velvety-pink with shades of purple and mauve revealing a group of yellow stamens. Its fragrance is strong a combination on pure clove from the stamens and Old rose from the petals with hints of watercress and cucumber.
