This Hozelock 1597 Ecoclear 8000 Pond Pump and Filter Kit is the complete pond filter system for ponds with fish up to 8000 litres and ponds without fish up to 16000 litres. It combines the Aquaforce 6000 solids handling filter and waterfall pump with the Bioforce 8000 pressurised pond filter with an 11w UVC. The Aquaforce filter pump draws in dirty water from the pond. In the Bioforce filter foam removes particles and smaller particles can be eliminated by fitting the supplied clip-in fine mesh filter tray which reduces the inlet diameter down to 2mm and affords the best possible protection for pond wildlife such as small fish newts and frogs preventing them from accessing the pump. The Kaldnes biological filtration then purifies the water whilst the UVC eliminates green water. There is also an easy clean backflush facility for flushing debris out of the filter thereby extending the time between thorough foam cleaning. Clear and healthy water leaves the pressurised Bioforce filter to then be pumped upward to a waterfall.
