Leek Pandora - Duchy Originals Organic Seeds

Leek Pandora have long pure white stems with contrasting dark green leaves. Combine these leeks with potato for a lovely thick and hearty soup. These Leeks are high in folic acid potassium and Vitamins A and C making them a tasty and healthy addition to your meals.

Sow Mid March to late April thinly in a prepared seedbed 13mm deep in drills 30cm apart. Transplant when the plants are large enough making holes about 23cm apart and 20cm deep using a dibber or trowel. Drop a plant in each hole and water in allowing 45cm between rows and mound up the soil around the stems as the plants grow.Harvest September to December these leeks are particularly suited to late summer and autumn harvesting. The Leek Pandora shows tolerance to leek rust.
