It features MTD's AST - Advanced Starting System - technology so all you need to do is pull the starter rope slowly, tensioning an assister spring, which then releases its energy to assist starting - it's that easy! This unit is extremely versatile and can easily be converted into a cultivator, hedgetrimmer and tree pruner by use of the Trimmer Plus attachments listed below.
