Bred for vigour and heavy crops, but with a compact growth habit, making it ideal for smaller gardens and grow bags. This excellent marrow produces delicious marrows with attractive light stripes. Resistant to Cucumber Mosaic virus, easy to harvest, and ideal for exhibition use. Bush variety. Maturing time from sowing approximately 16 weeks. Sow seeds singly in 7.5cm (3") pots under glass in early April and plant outdoors in late May. Alternatively sow outdoors in late May or early June where the plants are to grow. To assist pollination remove the petals from a male flower and gently insert the core into a female flower. Use a different male flower for each pollination.
