The large black cherries produced by Organic Sunburst Cherry Trees look almost too good to be true - but the truth is they taste just as attractive as they look; sweet juicy and full of flavour with just a hint of raspberry.The good news continues as Sunburst is a cherry variety capable of flourishing across most of the UK but as with most cherry trees it will reward you if planted in a sunny aspect. Supplied as a bare rooted maiden tree our Sunburst cherry trees are grown on Gisela 5 semi dwarfing rootstocks and make an excellent fan trained cherry or an equally productive - and manageable - bush tree. Self fertile Sunburst cherries are picked from late July but don't forget to the developing fruit to keep off the birds - they've got the same fine sense of taste as us!Organic Sunburst Cherry Trees are despatched in bare-root form between November and March. Due to overwhelming demand we’ve sold right out of this variety of fruit tree but we are still taking forward orders which we will be despatching from mid November.
