The first digit gives this light protection against contact and ingress of objects >1 mm in size. The second digit shows a protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against ingress of splashing water.There is no fitted switch or dimmer within this light fitting.This product requires an input voltage of 240V.This light fitting is suitable for installation onto a dimmer control circuit if mains voltage halogen bulbs are used.
