The traditional accompaniment to a Sunday Roast Horseradish is also delicious with fish such as tuna smoked trout or mackerel. A member of the mustard family horseradish is well flavoured with thick fleshy white roots.

To prepare fresh root simply peel and then grate as required - only prepare the amount needed as once peeled it loses its pungency quite quickly.
