To enjoy the unique taste of home-grown freshly picked apples cherries pears and peaches you need to put in some hard work during the formative years of the tree - and that means protecting the trunk with a Tree Guard and thwarting the destructive gnawing habits of deer squirrels and rabbits. Made from UV-stabilised polypropylene plastic the close-mesh rot-resistant guards protect up to a height of 55cm and open from 5cm to 10cm in diameter as the girth of the trunk increases. The guards are supplied in packs of 5 and allow light air and rainfall to pass through unhindered leaving you with an orchard full of happy trees!
